Brief description of Milan

Milan is Italy`s window on Europe, its most sophisticated and high-tech metropolis. La Scala, its landmark, is one of Europe`s most prestigious opera houses. In addition, it'` the site of several world-renowned annual trade fairs. Milan is one of Europe`s top shopping cities, with an incredible concentration of sophisticated, high style boutiques - and that`s only fitting because Milan is the dynamo of the Italian fashion industry. Dolce & Gabbana, Ferré, Krizia, Moschino, Prada, Armani, and Versace have all catapulted to international stardom from design studios based here. Inevitably, shopping is of almost religious significance.

Day 1: Milan cathedral and roof top tour

The Duomo di Milano, or Milan Cathedral, is probably the most important attraction in Milan, a place that should not be really missed regardless of how long you will stay in the city. The construction of Milan Cathedral began in 1386 and took over 500 years to complete: currently is the largest Gothic style structure in Italy. The external facade is decorated with countless architectural details and thousands of carved statues depicting religious figures taken from the Bible. No visit to Milan Duomo is complete without getting to its roof from where visitors can admire hundreds of pinnacles finely carved, while enjoying a spectacular view onto the huge square below. The interior is instead decorated with hundreds of statues as well, stained glass windows, enormous paintings and huge marble columns.

Day 2: Half day Milan city tour

After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel to engage in a Milan City tour, the city life is a modern business and residential district not far from Milan city center and old Milan city fair, Featuring a large park, shops, three towers and luxury condominiums, all designed by famous architects City Life is the largest pedestrian area in Milan and one of the largest in Europe, where visitors can relax walking among beautiful gardens with labeled shrubs and trees, under imposing oddly-shaped towers.

Day 3: aquarium of Genoa

After breakfast the guide will pick you up from the hotel to go to the Aquarium of Genoa to see more than 15,000 animals from 400 species at Italy's largest aquatic zoo. Skip the line, and learn how the aquarium was built for the Genoa Expo '92.Enjoy a venue that is home to the biggest display of aquatic biodiversity in Europe. Venture into the fascinating waters of the world as you explore more than 70 tanks of critters. Marvel at animals from the Antarctic, such as penguins, and see sharks, seals, jellyfish, and the colorful fish of the coral barriers. Go to the Cetacean Pavilion, designed by Renzo Piano, and laugh along with the bottlenose dolphins at 4 open-air pools. The move back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gardaland Park

After early morning breakfast we will depart from the hotel in direction of Gardaland, an amusement park, situated at Lake Garda in northern Italy. We will spend a whole day there with one purposely to have fun and to experience as many attractions as we can. More than 40 different attractions are divided into sections according to the themes and other criteria so that people of all ages and preferences will find something they like. You can walk along the magical paths of the Fantasy Kingdom, where the world of the main character Prezzemolo i.e. Parsley is captivating. The roller coaster of 2011, the Raptor, gives new meaning to adrenaline attractions. When it comes to the theme park evaluations, Gardaland ranks high on the international level; it competes with the best theme parks in the world. Overwhelmed with wild escapades, we return to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner in the evening.

Day 5: Serravalle Outlet Shopping Tour in Milan

Then, when the time comes, meet your guide in central Milan and board you’re comfortable, air-conditioned coach for your journey to the Serravalle Designer Outlet, roughly one hour away. On arrival, set out on your day of independent shopping around the elegant complex. Day 6: Depart Milan

Time to say goodbye to Milan - for now! Catch up on some last-minute souvenir shopping, enjoy a cup of Italian coffee in a sunny plaza, and then head to the Malpensa airport for your connecting flight home. Safe travels!
